If you sign up with the Firedoglake Membership Program, and pay the membership fee for the selected membership level, you will receive the benefits, discounts and gifts associated with the membership level you select. Each membership and associated fee payment is for one year or monthly for one year from the date we receive your sign up.
Once we receive your payment to the membership program, it is non-refundable.
If for any reason we fail to receive the payment for the membership level you selected, your membership shall not be effective; you will not receive any of the benefits, discounts or gifts associated with membership.
The FDL Membership Program has an automatic renewal feature at the end of each membership term. This means that on a date one year (or one month for twelve months for monthly members) from when your membership became active (and subsequent years thereafter), we will automatically renew your membership at the same level, and we will debit your credit card for the renewal amount. You may cancel the automatic renew feature at any time by contacting us at members@firedoglake.com. For members paying on a monthly recurring basis, you may cancel your membership after six (6) monthly payments.
We reserve the right to change the fees in the future for each membership level for all future new members, including those who were previously members but canceled or otherwise allowed their membership to expire. However, as long as you continue to renew your membership as scheduled, your membership fee shall remain the same, unless you ask us to change your membership level. In that event, the membership fee will be at the fee then applicable to that membership level.
To cancel your membership or the automatic renewal feature, you must contact the Membership Program at members@firedoglake.com. The cancellation of your Membership is your only remedy with respect to any dispute you may have with us relating to the Membership program. You should also contact us if there is any change in the credit card or billing data you wish us to use for the renewal. If there has been a change and you have not notified us, and we are unable to process your payment during automatic renewal, your membership may expire, making you subject to any new fees in reinstating your membership.
